I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, and started dancing at the age of 4. During my education, I was always interested in fashion, art, design, dance, and music. I became a Zumba © Fitness Instructor in 2011 and shortly after became one of the faces of the program in South Africa as well as the first Zumba Jammer (skills and development trainer) in 2016. Later I became the official ZES (Zumba Education Specialist) in 2018 – one of 180 in the world. My passion for teaching and presenting workshops allows me to not only travel within South Africa but also internationally. USA, UK, China, South Korea, India, Poland, Ethiopia, and Uganda just to name a few. In 2018 I created and presented ABC (African Beat Culture) at the Zumba Convention in Orlando, Florida – a workshop centered around South African dance, culture, and history – one of my many passions is to educate my students not only about the movements but also about the history behind it. I work as a choreographer and performance director for the Cape Town Carnival groups and public performances.
My second passion belongs to fashion and art. I am a fully certified Hair and Makeup Artist and am a lecturer at the Head 2 Toe Makeup Academy. My clientele includes bridals, media - TV and Films as well as fashion shoots. I am teaching the art of makeup both virtually and in person. Also, I am working as a part-time model and am a social media content creator as well.
